Robert Robinson Taylor is the first known black graduate with a degree in architecture from MIT in 1892. He was the first professionally-educated, black architect in America and the architect of Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama. In the spirit of Robert Robinson Taylor, RRTN values excellence, “learn by doing”, entrepreneurial and inventive spirit, passionate and creative self-expression, integrity, and social responsibility.
