Loic Assobmo

RRTN intern Loic Assobmo is a Junior at Brockton High School, where he is in the top three percent of his class. Some of the classes he is taking include Advanced Placement (AP) or college level; World Literature, European History, and French level 5. In his spare time he likes to play basketball, weight-lift and read.

Loic is passionate about biology and entrepreneurship and aspires to become a medical entrepreneur when he is older. His goal is to start the Global Establishment for Medical Advancement (GEMA); focused on identifying and addressing the problems facing medical institutions in Africa. He also plans on using the GEMA to leverage RRTN’s Node Network strategy and apply it to the medical field.

Loic has been an intern at RRTN since May, 2009. He is a co-designer and co-manager of RRTN’s Global Node Network Initiative. He has helped refurbish, configure and send computers to 2 schools in the Caribbean in order to set-up node sites for RRTN’s node network. He has also helped the company establish and maintain relationships with nine other institutions in Africa, the Caribbean and the USA. Loic also works on designing and implementing RRTN’s XLab strategy, creating the first global guide on the influence of black culture in fields of ASTEM and several other projects.
